I love freaking Korean fashion ever since I bribed my Koren friend to translate the shopping cart of http://www.dahong.co.kr which is this sick online clothing store based in Seoul. When I saw Concept Korea my heart stopped. I love the insane colors, crazy shapes, and oversized shoulder pads. The Korean government basically had a project runway of the best designers in the country minus the drama, long drawn out TV episodes, and never ending commercials. The winners of are sooo fly, their pieces exhibit elements of Hip Hop, Classicism and and ounce of harajuku girl all put together coherently in one show. Congrats to the designers: Kathleen Kye ('KYE'), Kim Seoryong ('Kimseoryong homme'), and Kim Hongbum ('CRES. E DIM.') in the 'Pre-concept Korea' category; and Ko Tae Yong ('beyond closet'), Park Youn Soo ('BIG PARK'), Lee Suk Tae ('KAAL E.SUKTAE'), and Choi Bo Ko ('CHOIBOKO')
